The Berkey Light Purification System provides reliable, user friendly, powerful yet economical water purification while enhancing the ambience of any environment. This system holds 2.75 gallons and 2 Black Berkey water purification elements are included along with a base having Blue LED lights. You can filter up to 4 gallons per hour. You can add up to 2 more Black Berkey elements (for a total of 4) which would allow you to purify up to 8 gallons per hour. The Berkey Light system is designed for use during travel, outdoor activities and during unexpected emergencies. This powerful system purifies both treated water and untreated raw water from such sources as remote lakes, streams, stagnant ponds and water supplies in foreign countries, where regulations may be substandard at best. Looks great in any home or business as well. The system is self-sterilizing and purifies water by reducing viruses, pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites and extracts harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, organic solvents and trihalomethanes, and also reduces unhealthy heavy metals such as lead and mercury. The system does not leach foul tasting plasticizers into your water and will not retain foul tastes and odors from waterborne contaminants.
